Hola mi Querida Familia!!
Just kidding (bromas) hehe
This week was JAM PACKED with things! It was a good week! Our area is progressing and we have a lot of potential for May!
Monday: For P-day, we went to Chili´s!
Tuesday:We had a work visit with the Sister Training Leaders! It went really well... We had a few appoitments fall and Hermana Evans asked me if there were any references we´de received that we hadn´t contacted yet. I remembered this one lady that we could NEVER get a hold of. We walked up to her house and there was a woman with her head out the window! I called up to her and asked her if she was Martha (the lady we were looking for) and she said yes! I asked her if we could share a short message, and she said YES! It was literally a miracle! We are working with her and she wants to get married and baptized and she has 2 kids who want to be baptized too! Miracles here in Libertad!
Wedesday: We finished the work visit and my comp and I went to lunch. However, the family was out on an errand. They told us to keep waiting and we waited for like, 2 hours. Finally, the daughter who is deaf cooked us some stuff she found in the house, and we helped. It ended up being really fun! Hahaha. That night, we celebrated the Birthday of Elder Cuvi! It was sweet!

I sent some letters to you guys, so let me know when you get them!
That evening for lunch, Royer visited me from Cusco! That was awesome! We just got to talk and reminisce about all the fun times in Canto Rey! That feels like it was just yesterday, but it was like 4 months ago! crazy how the time flies.
Friday: Friday night, we decided to poke our heads in this aquarium that´s in our area! It was pretty cool! It´s really a shop to buy fish, so we looked around and even got to hold a Pirahana!!! ok... it was dead and dried and on a little stand, but it WAS real! hahaha. I also got to hold turtles!!! You know how I love them!
Saturday: normal, good day with lots of work!
Sunady: We had a lot of lessons. One in particular was super awesome. We are rescuing and he is really back and forth on whether or not he wants to go on a mission. We talked to him a lot and I shared a quote I heard from President Hinkley that was "You will come to realize that what appears today to be a sacrifice will instead come to be the best investment you will ever make." I really believe that is true. It was like that for me in the beginning... I thought I was making such a sacrifice, and in some ways, it´s true. Time. But really... I am the one benefitting the most from this. There are things that I have learned and I am still learning that I KNOW I would never learn if I was just at home. I am so grateful for my mission and even the hard times. I know that I am growing to be the person my Heavenly Father wants me to be. The mission is awesome like that.
Welp family, I love you lots and I hope your week is fantastic! Keep up on the studies, you´re almost to the end of the year! Hahaha. Love you guys!
P.S. Lots of pics this week!!!
Love love love,
Hermana Kira Andrus
