When You're Feeling Low...

HOLA FAMILIA!!!

Holy cow... what a rollercoaster of a week! I have felt your prayers and your love all the way here and I want to tell you how much I appreciate it. I work my hardest for you guys and keep a prayer in my heart at all times for you. I love you dearly and hope you are having an enjoyable week as well!! I know that when we`re feeling low and like we can`t do it... the Lord will bless us! He sure has for me this week!!

This week I feel like I have really experienced some of the greatness of Perù! I have witnessed a man peeing in the streets, almost been hit by 3 moto-taxi´s, almost been attacked by 2 dogs, and walked the biggest mountain I`ve ever walked tp have the person we were visiting not be home!! bahaha. And yet... I`m enjoying it.

Something funny that happened this week... Monday, we were walking over to the Elder`s house (The ZL´s lost their phone-- so they took our district leaders and our district leader took ours.. cray cray... i know!) and so we were walking over to talk to them.  On the way back, a car was backing up and I looked in the back.. I saw a bunch of these weird yellow things sticking up in the air... As we got closer, I realized that it was like, 25 pairs of CHICKEN FEET sticking straight up into the air!!! HAHAHA... I had a good laugh about that!

The days are kind of a blur... but I have lots to tell... sorry you won`t know what day, but that`s kind of how it is here!! Bahaha.

As we were walking down the street, I saw a truck with Thomas the Train on it and couldn`t help but smile and think of Tidus! I miss him! How is he?!

We had a lesson this week with this lady named Rosemary. She works at this shop across the street from one of our members and we gave her a pamphlet and then came back a few days later to teacher her. The spirit was so strong and she really felt the spirit-- I did too! We`re going to be teaching her again sometime this week, and I hope she continues to feel how the gospel can change her life!!

We had a combined zone meeting this week to talk about some new rules of the mission and to have a training and we talked about Angels.  We talked about the angels who appeared to people like Joseph Smith and Laman and Lemuel and then we talked about how WE are angels here on earth-- doing God´s service. SO COOL!! We also talked about how a lot of people want an angel to just appear to them or to have a vision like Joseph Smith, but we`re their angels. Help your missionaries out and go and do some lessons with them! It`s cool!! I wish I had done it more before I came!

Saturday, we contacted a lady named Glacier and made plans to pick her up for church. Sunday, we went to her house at 7:15 to get her for church... She said she just needed to change and so we waited... and waited.... and waited... and knocked on her door... and waited... and called her name.... and waited.... Finally... it was 8ish and we were late for church, so we just left! We went back later that night to talk to her, and she said she fell or something.... (I`m not 100% sure... I couldn`t follow the conversation very well...) Hahaha. It was interesting though, and she still wants to hear more! Haha...

My dear family... I love you so much!! I`ve heard the time on the mission goes by fast, and I hope it`s true... only so I can see you guys sooner! However, I`m really trying to just lose myself in the work right now!!
I`m SO thankful for your prayers and for your love and for your support down here in Perù. I want you to know I always have a prayer in my heart for you guys and as I work hard, it`s for the Lord and His children-- but also for you guys!! I love you so much and I love hearing from you! Thank you thank you thank you for the prayers. I love you and think of you often!!
